Mascara

Mascara is still on my lashes from the night before
It clings like I like to time
It’s holding up but still falling down
I could wipe it clear
Or I could keep adding to it
It’s usually the latter
But I like it
I like that it’s constant
Sometimes things get blurry
Or uncomfortable
Or it feels sensitive
I could mess it up with just one touch
It’s scary
But I like it
Most of the time
