Carrnival 2024
By: Spencer Brodie

Our school's tropical-themed event was a smashing success, offering an array of activities and treats for everyone! The highlight of the day was the Ice Bucket Challenge, where Ms. Marsh and Mr. Rybak gamely participated, much to the students' delight. Attendees enjoyed snapping fun photos with a cheerful mango mascot and striking poses at the red carpet photo booth, which had print out polaroids to save the memory. Two tasty food trucks lined the venue, serving up an assortment of delectable beaver tails and coffee, while a dedicated table sold mouth-watering ice cream to beat the heat. The event held engaging activities, from inflatable basketball, soccer, and hockey games that got everyone moving, to classic games like Connect 4 and hopscotch, providing entertainment for all grades. The combination of vibrant decorations, delicious food, and a wide range of games ensured that this event was a memorable and joyous occasion for the entire school community. As the school year comes to a close, it was the perfect opportunity to celebrate coming together as a school to relax and have fun.
